Step by step how to modify your V6 heatsink to fit Spartacus and to be more secure

here we have the most common V6 heatsinks

Bowden and Direct drive Style

As dimension they are the same

Here is where we will make the cut

I have used an angle grinder to cut the upper part, but you can use a hack saw

This is how it is supposed to like after the cut

As you can see i prefer the bowden stile heat sink

Put the heatsink in the V6 Holder

And use 2 M3x40 screw + 2x M3 nuts to secure it in place

Use a 2.5mm Dril bit and drill 2 holes in the designated locations

Clean the debrie and prepare your M3 TAP

Carefully cut some treads 3-5mm

After cleaning the threads, now you can screw 2x M3x4, M3x5 or M3x6 I prefer the M3x4 saving weight.

Remove everything and clean all the mess

It should look like this
