# Voron v2.4 4.3" Touchscreen Mount
Inspired by [Roboticator's excellent 4" touchscreen mount](../../roboticator24/4inch_touchscreen_mount_for_v2.4), I wanted to use a capacitive touchscreen and a DSI connection instead.
This mod mounts a [Waveshare 4.3inch Capacitive Touch Display](https://www.waveshare.com/4.3inch-dsi-lcd.htm) purchased from [Amazon](https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B083TG7Y9B/). The screen is oriented at a 60 degree angle keeping the height the same as a standard skirt.

#### Combine with [Roboticator's modified skirts](https://github.com/roboticator24/VoronUsers/tree/master/printer_mods/roboticator24/front%2Brear_skirts_for_v2.4) for a cleaner look.

## Printing
- Print 1 * faceplate and 1 * screen_mount
- Print using standard Voron part settings and in the orientation used in the STL
- No supports required, but there is one bridge in the mount, the bottom layer of which is not in view once installed
- Voron logo is inset .2mm intentionally to force the solid infill around the hex. You should not need to support this.
- Use concentric infill for the bottom layer for a different effect

## Installation
1. Attach the screen to the mount using 4 x M2.5 screws that were included with the screen
1. Ensure the screen slid as high on the mount as possible
2. Slide the faceplate onto the screen from the bottom, ensuring the sides remain latched behind the PCB
3. Fasten the mount to the bottom extrusion in place of the spec LCD/mount
1. You may need to leave the screen screws slightly loose to ensure the M3 screws clear it. Ensure to tighten afterwards.
4. Slide the faceplate up until it is flush to the extrusion
5. Optional: Secure the faceplate with (2) 2 x 10 self tapping screws through the tabs on each side
6. Connect your DSI cable

# Molex MLX and Microfit Bed Connector Mount
This part provides a solid mount for the 3 circuit MLX receptacle and a 2 circuit Micro-Fit 3.0 plug housing from the v2.4 BOM. I recommend you put these connectors on the electronics side. Mounting the connectors this way allows you to more easily hide the wires and disconnect the bed from the printer with one hand after lifting the bed. It can be mounted on either bed extrusion, and in either Y orientation you prefer. Example orientations are shown in the images.

- Print using standard Voron part settings and in the orientation used in the STL
## Installation
- The MLX connector should snap in smoothly
- It must be inserted from the flat side of the mount and only in 1 orientation
- Orient the alignment flange closer to the screw-side of the mount
- The Micro-Fit 3.0 will be a little more difficult to insert. Apply pressure until it snaps into place
- Both will come back out without destroying the connectors or mount, but it takes some finesse

# Voron v2.4 Sturdy Handles
I wanted handles for the v2.4 that were a bit more sturdy than I've been able to find and that didn't act as a clip for the panels. That's what I have the clips for :). This is a modified v2.2 handle that has 4 anchor points. It will not work on the bottom extrusions if you're using skirts, but should anywhere that has access to 2 adjacent sides of an extrusion. It has 6mm of clearance on the side that will go over the panel slightly.

## Printing
- Print using standard Voron part settings and in the orientation used in the STL
- Supports should not be needed, but the overhang is < 45 degrees. That area is hidden from view and tolerances don't really matter there. Regardless, it prints clean for me.
## Installation
- You will likely need to move the top panel out of the way for installation. I just removed clips from one side and the middle to lift it up a bit.

# Voron V2.4 Z Chain Guide with Integrated Thermistor Mount
When looking for a clean way to mount a chamber temperature sensor, the Z chain guide seemed like a perfect opportunity. It should fit any thermistor with a 3mm barrel.

## Installation
1. Route your wire through the Z chain to the rear X extrusion
2. Secure the wire inside that extrusion
3. Insert the thermistor into the mount
4. Attach the mount to the extrusion, positioned to hold the Z chain vertical*
****NOTE:** Ensure you have enough links in your Z chain to clear the guide when at max Z.*
